The Triangle Greenways Council Land Trust is the preeminant Land Trust in the Triangle specifically dedicated to preserving property which can and will be used for greenway trails, greenway trail facilities, greenway trail viewsheds, and greenway open space.

We currently own and manage two properties.

1. A future American Tobacco Trail trailhead parking facility of approximately 2.5 acres, one mile south of I-40 on Fayetteville Road in southern Durham adjacent to the trail.

This property is owned by the TGC Land Trust and is managed by the Triangle Rails-to-Trails Conservancy who has obtained several grants to build a 12 vehicle parking facility during 2005.

2. Forever Green, a 75 acre tract on Yonkers Road in east Raleigh that is located adjacent to the a future Raleigh Greenway.
