Trail Map

One of the Triangle Greenways Council's ongoing projects is to provide the public with great maps of every greenway in the Triangle. We're not finished yet. So, in the meantime, you can click on one of the following to view scanned maps of greenway trails:

NEW!!!!  PDF images of original prints of the maps: In order to load the images of the maps onto the web, we have compressed the images so that the files are smaller than the original pictures or drawings.  Since we have actually made some of the maps ourselves (and not just scanned pictures from brochures), the detail is perfect.  

Previously, if you wanted to print out a copy of the map in the image format, it would print in as "grainy" as was on your computer screen.  However, we have taken some of the original maps and converted them to PDF files, which can be viewed by anyone with adobe acrobat reader (a free program available on adobe's web site).  These files will print perfectly, in all the original detail of the original maps before they were compressed.  Additionally the files are relatively small and easy to download.

Just click on the link to the left to the PDF maps to go to a page with a listing of maps available in that format.  Hope you can print and use these maps easily.  They will all print to 81/2 by 11 sheets of paper easily.
